Bubbacue receives rave review

We were thrilled to read a raving review of current Glandore Belfast members Bubbacue in The Irish News over the weekend. John Blisard, of the hugely successful Mexican fast-food Boojum chain, is the “brains behind the barbecue” and one of Belfast’s most succesful restaurant entrepreneurs.

The restaurant also offers Bubbabrew, developed by Belfast’s Boundary Brewery. “It’s great to build these relationships with local suppliers,” said John. “Our meat comes from Crosskeys butchers in Randalstown and is all local. We’re able to explain how we want our meat butchered and the cuts that we want.”. To quote restaurant reviewer Seamus Moloney, “The brisket makes for the sort of sandwich you’d treat yourself to after a rubbish morning at work that has you wondering whether or not it’s worth heading back after lunch.”
