Tell us about TDS Northern Ireland
We are a not-for-profit organisation approved by the Northern Ireland Executive to safeguard tenant’s deposit money. At the end of a tenancy, we ensure the tenant gets back what they are entitled to – and if they don’t we run a free and impartial dispute resolution service that decides who gets what, as an alternative to using the courts.

We protect 80% of tenancy deposits in all of NI; so if you’ve paid a deposit since 1 April 2013, chances are it’s with us!

What’s next for TDS Northern Ireland?
We’d like to make our coverage 100% – watch this space!

What’s your favourite thing about working in Belfast?
Belfast is a great place and I really enjoy working here. A lot of my work is conducted at my favourite haunt Bert’s Jazz Bar over a half a pint of Guinness!

What do you like about being a Glandore Member?
The Glandore set up really suits us and the people are fab

Friday nights in or Friday nights out?
Friday nights in watching Have I Got News for You or The Fall on iplayer! I once got an upgrade to the suite at The Hilton, two days after Gillian Anderson filmed a raunchy scene in the very same room. Fair to say my stay was a far quieter affair.
