Glandore Members & Partners

Tell us about Glandore

Founded by the Kelly family in 2001, Glandore is an Irish, family owned and managed company operating in Dublin 2, Dublin 4 and Belfast BT1 business districts. We offer fully fitted flexible workspace for teams of any size with virtual offices, coworking space, private offices, meeting rooms,  event space and an exclusive members network.

What’s your role in the company?

I head up the Glandore Belfast team. The primary focus of the role is to deliver all aspect of operational activities and to be responsible for the over-arching objectives of the company. I am responsible for the management of around 40,000 ft 2 of Grade A accomodation, and the business needs of 600 individuals. My degree is in International Business Studies, which covered a wide variety of business modules. This has served me well, as my role at Glandore is multifaceted. I move daily from finance or project management duties, to HR and customer service.

Tell us something about Glandore we didn’t know?

Glandore was fondly named after the beautiful harbour village in County Cork, where the Kelly family spent childhood holidays.

What’s next for Glandore?

We are currently developing an exciting new Glandore members’ portal with a mobile app. This will give members a platform to network online across Dublin and Belfast, make bookings and requests, make payments, access invoices and keep up to date with developments and community events.

What’s your favourite thing about working in Belfast?

As a Derry girl, I may not be allowed back over the Glenshane pass for saying this, but I love the city of Belfast. I’ve lived in the city for 10 years now and have seen massive positive economic and social change during this time period. Belfast has developed into a diverse, multicultural destination city that I am proud to call home. I have recently joined the Belfast One working group, which is the business improvement district for Belfast City Centre. Belfast One aims to promote the fantastic retail, leisure, culture and entertainment offering we have here, and showcases what a brilliantly unique city Belfast is.

What do you like about working for Glandore?

We are in a unique position, with a bird’s eye view on observing trends and cultures of the business sector over the years. I love witnessing companies develop to their true potential, be it growing from a 2 person to 130 person organisation, seeing companies receive accolades for business performance and just observing the wide variety of sectors we have across our Dublin and Belfast sites. I like to think the support myself and the team provide contributes to the smooth running of member business operations.

Friday nights in or Friday nights out?

Out, out! I am a big foodie and like nothing better than sampling the new bars and restaurants popping up around Belfast. The restaurant scene here is second to none. My husband is a DJ, so we like finding a vibey bar for a few rum cocktails, or a nice bottle of red with some good tunes. Saying that, I love to cook and am a Nigella fan girl. One of my happiest moments was getting to meet her at her Belfast book signing.
