We work with clients in both Ireland and Northern Ireland to assist business growth at local, national and international level. UHY FDW has been in operation for almost 30 years, now operating out of four offices in Dundalk, Balbriggan, Dublin and Belfast, employing over 65 staff.

What is your role in UHYFDW?
My role in UHY FDW is to create an exceptional experience for clients and employees of our firm. As Business Development and Client Relations Manager I love to put a smile on people’s faces. My main responsibility is to ensure our firm achieves our strategic growth targets and we fulfil our mission of providing exceptional service levels.
Tell us something about UHYFDW we might not know
Relationships are extremely important to us and we pride ourselves on the fact that we are a director led firm. We are people first and accountants second! From directors to employees we see each other as team members and embraced a culture of open and honest communication on every interaction.
What’s next for UHYFDW?
We want to keep building strong relationships with our clients, employees and community. As a firm we are very progressive and on the forefront of new trends and changes in the world of Accountancy and Finance. We will always ensure that we live up to our motto – “Best Advice, Better Results”
What do you like about being a Glandore member?
Meeting other members and hearing their stories. Always great to hear how and why they started their business and hear about their plans for the future. The great facilities and professional service from Glandore and employees are exceptional too.
Our Director, Clare Kelly, recently spoke at the launch of UHYFDW’s WISE and YES initiatives. Tell us more about why initiatives like these are so important in the modern workplace?
The workplace and boardroom environment have changed significantly over the last couple of years and so have the diversity of business owners. People have a natural tendency to want to belong to a group/pack. Our firm wants to provide our clients, employees and all business owners access to a network with whom they can associate. In these networks, like WISE & YES, they will meet new people they can trust and build long lasting relationships with.
In what way do you believe in making connections and fostering relationships can truly benefit business?
Trust are earned through fostering relationships and keeping promises. Making new connections and building relationships will lead to trust between businesses and their clients. This will contribute greatly to the sustainability of businesses.
