Tell us about Metaswitch
We’re a software company specialising in Telecommunications, predominantly fully virtualised solutions. We enable communications companies to deliver highly-scalable, software-centric, cloud-based infrastructure and services.
What is your role in the company?
I’m a technical trainer covering worldwide customers, predominantly outside North America. I’m also involved in the Engineering side, supporting customers with commissioning their systems, either onsite or remotely.
Tell us something about Metaswitch that we may not know
We provide solutions for over 1,000 service providers worldwide.
What’s next for Metaswitch?
We recently won the Unified Communications Solution of the Year Award at the Mobile Breakthrough Awards, and the mobile sector is something that has been a very busy area for Metaswitch. This is continuing to grow and we’re developing some amazing new features in this area that will ultimately benefit mobile consumers and business customers.
What do you like about working in Belfast?
I adore Belfast. It’s a fantastic City and it’s lovely to be in the middle of it. There’s always something to do and it’s a very friendly welcoming place to live and work.
What do you like about being a Glandore Member?
I love the support we get from the Glandore Team. They’re always onhand to help if we need anything in addition to being happy to go the extra mile.

Friday nights out, in Belfast. It doesn’t get any better than that.
