Tell us about the role of the Community Team in Glandore
As Community Executives our role is to cultivate a community for our Glandore members and encourage them to build connections with each other and the larger community. Between all locations, we develop a series of monthly events for our members across the areas of Wellness, Business Advisory, Learning and Development, and social events. We are always here as a touchstone and helping hand for all our members.
Tell us one reason why workplace communities matter for business
Over the last few years workplaces have changed dramatically with the introduction of hybrid working making the need for the time spent in the office more productive and the need to offer something different to employees than what they have in their home office. In the current world’s climate people’s time is a valuable commodity and they want to spend it wisely.
That’s where we come in – we believe that every business needs the right environment to allow their employees to achieve their full potential. Here in Glandore we have developed a holistic approach to make the workplace community that kind of right environment, taking into account that individual needs differ and people’s time is precious. We aim to empower our members with our wellness, social and advisory programme that enhances their professional and personal lives with the aim of maximising overall business performance.
Be it for the benefit of mental well-being and the fundamental truth that happy employees work better. We believe that when you cultivate a workplace community, you make a space for shared creativity, building relationships, for open-mindedness, as well as an invaluable support system.
As humans, we are built to be social creatures and we are dependent on our ability to collaborate and share experiences to evolve whether that be socially or professionally!
Tell us about the upcoming community events
Over the coming months, and into 2024 we have some really exciting community and wellness events planned. We aim to empower our members with our community programme by tailoring our events to have a real-life impact on our members professional and personal lives. Our up-and-coming events range from, onsite nutritionist, chair massages, mortgage clinics, onsite optician appointments, onsite barbers, pizza and drinks evenings, networking breakfasts, Christmas parties, and much more.
