US FDI and newest Glandore Members, Bamboo Rose, to create 75 new jobs in Belfast
We are thrilled to welcome newest Glandore Members, Bamboo Rose, to Glandore Belfast and the Glandore Members Network. Officially launching as Bamboo Rose in 2012, the Boston-based FDI company rebranded from Tradestone to create an invitation-only marketplace. Today, Bamboo Rose helps connect the retail community to discover, develop and deliver products at consumer speed. Their operation serves over 85 major retailers and 400 brands, including, Debenhams, Boots, Dunelm Ltd and GAP
Based on their existing growth in Atlanta, Boston, London, Bangalore, and Hong Kong, Bamboo Rose has chosen to expand into the European market, by opening offices in Belfast. This expansion expects to create over 75 new jobs in Northern Ireland, paying an average salary of £38,253.
Announcing Bamboo Rose’s plans, Gary Hanley, Head of Operations and SVP Sales, said:
“The development centre in Belfast will include roles in software development and professional services support. With above-average salaries, this investment by Bamboo Rose will deliver nearly £3m annually in wages to the Northern Ireland economy.”
