Tell us about SmashFly
SmashFly is the only Enterprise Recruitment Marketing Platform that helps you find, initiate and nurture those relationships so you both can better determine fit before hire to reduce costs, improve engagement and increase retention. We are in a period of expansion and Belfast is the natural choice for talent to help grow our R&D Team.
What is your role in the company?
I head up our Human Resources and Business Operations function in EMEA, in other words I wear many hats… Our primary focus is the establishment of SmashFly as an employer of choice in NI, recruiting R&D talent to help establish a centre of excellence for development in EMEA.

We are all about our People !!! Our team is talented. We come from organizations like BrassRing, Taleo, Oracle, SuccessFactors, Jobs2Web, TMP and CareerBuilder, with 200+ years of combined experience in technology. We’re united by a passion for what we do, support each other to succeed and laugh a lot along the way. We live across the Globe from California to the Canada, New York island … and now Belfast …

What’s next for SmashFly?
The NI expansion is the gate way to EMEA for us as Business, we are excited to be building out an amazing R&D team initially with exciting further expansion in the next 2-3 years.
What’s your favourite thing about working in Belfast?
Well… our location is ideal for meetings and easy access for employees, it helpful to have some of the best bars in Belfast nearby for those team building events!
What do you like about being a Glandore Member?
Team Glandore!! I am lucky to have worked with Glandore in a previous role and was excited to return. A great service with an all rounded solution specific to our needs. The ever-helpful operations team in Belfast are always on hand to help me solve the everyday issues as well as having the ever-necessary coffee on tap.
Friday nights in or Friday nights out?
Friday is family night, a relaxing unwind from a busy week, nevertheless I can always be persuaded to make an exception on the odd occasion !
