10 Team Building Activities in Cork

We have spoken before about how much it means to be part of a culture and this goes hand in hand with building your team to help them blend seamlessly with one another, to create a healthy dynamic.

With that in mind, we have come up with 10 team building activities you can do with your own teams – smack bang in the middle of Cork City and beyond!

1. Oysterhaven Centre Adult Sports & Social. Enjoy a unique sports & social outing in Oysterhaven – The centre can design a programme to include activities afloat and ashore. Maximum participation for all to include friendly competition, fun challenges and lots of laughs! 2.5 hours to include both activity options €40pp. Jungle Quest Embark on a real adventure – a quest into the jungle. Follow the challenge course through & over bog & water, sharing in the fun, competition, laughs and mud! Aquafun Take a leisurely paddle out across the scenic Oysterhaven Bay or have a laugh on our Giant SUP before returning home and having a fun and jump off our infamous Moonwalk!
2. Fota House Treasure Hunt With our Fota House treasure hunt you will explore, learn and work as a team whilst tackling a variety of questions, trivia and team challenges. Incorporating Fota, fauna and flora, historical and local news, history, this is a unique team event is designed to test your knowledge and have a few laughs along the way.Support planning and event management. This is a Fully Managed event meaning that our dedicated and experienced team will work with you before the event, to help put together your game. On the day, our event staff will be on hand to deliver an event briefing; offer guidance and support (but no clues!) and after the event to provide an eagerly anticipated wrap up presentation.
3. GaolBreaks Cork Gaolbreak Cork is an app-based game set in the fabulous historic building of Cork City Gaol. Whilst exploring the cells, landings, governor’s office, exercise yard walls and more you make your escape. Working in teams of 4-6 you make your way through the questions & tasks using our hi-tech app. Speed is of the essence as your window for escape is short. Problem solving and creativity are key in this light-hearted event in this iconic building. Which route will you take? Speed or stealth? Will you have enough clues to work out the final task to escape the walls?
4.  Castlemartyr Resort Castlemartyr Resort is ideally placed for team building for groups of friends and colleagues who want to enjoy a range of activities. 5. National Cart Centre The National Cart Centre in Cork offers a great day out! A great way to get competitive with your team, and what better way than to jump into a cart and get your hit of adrenalin! Check out the various offers. 6. Atlantic Sea Kayaking Join us, Atlantic Sea Kayaking, in Ireland’s south west, on The Wild Atlantic Way, to explore this jewel of Ireland’s coastline by sea kayak. The area stretches from the Old Head of Kinsale and encompasses the tranquil, sheltered bay of Glandore and Castlehaven, embraces Carbery’s Hundred Isles and the Fastnet Rock, and curls around the Mizen Head.
7. Extreme Sports Cork Extreme Sports Cork specialises in fun and unique corporate team building exercises playing Airsoft. Private parties may be booked for any available time. Private parties during weekends are limited, if you want a weekend time you will need to call and arrange a suitable time. We can offer many different packages from 2 hours to half day sessions including Lunch.
