Glandore Members & Partners

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O’Connor, broadcaster George Hook, Senator Joan Freeman, friends, family, press and fellow Glandore Members all joined Theresa Lowe and Frank McNamara at the launch of their new venture, Theresa Lowe Communications.

Guests came together to celebrate with former presenter of RTÉ’s Where in the World, barrister and media trainer, Theresa Lowe and Frank McNamara, former music director of RTÉ’s The Late Late Show, for what was thoroughly enjoyable evening at Glandore’s event space, No. 25 Fitzwilliam Place.

Theresa Lowe Communications provides bespoke training courses to individuals or groups. Whether you are working professional who has to give presentations, a groomsman tasked with delivering a superb speech, or an aspiring TV presenter, Theresa will help you find your voice and deliver in a perfect and confident manner.

Speaking to the Irish Independent, Theresa Lowe says that Frank McNamara’s years of work in media and music is invaluable. “We show people how to communicate in spoken word, and work on language and delivery,” she says. “Frank is brilliant at scripting, as he knows everything about technology and is really interested in the voice.”.  Frank says that you need rhythm, tempo, speed, pauses and pitching when speaking in public if you don’t want to send your audience to sleep. “It’s great to work with young entrepreneurs, as they have amazing new ideas and just have to be shown how to communicate them,” says Frank. ”As an entrepreneur, you usually just get one pitch to banks or investors so that’s your only chance to make a good first impression.”

Theresa Lowe Communications is currently accepting applications for their TV and radio presenting course. Find out more by visiting theresalowe.ie.
