Tell us something about TCS we might not know

TCS is celebrating 50 years in business this year globally, we also are celebrating 150 years of the TATA group this year, which is a pretty amazing achievement.

What’s next for TCS?

TCS continue to focus on growing the business through supporting our customer’s digital transformation goals. Having built their ‘digital spines’ and moved to the cloud, a new generation of agile organizations are now embracing automation, robotics and artificial intelligence. TCS calls this this Business 4.0, and we are enabling our customers to embrace all the opportunities and prosper in the digital age.

What do you like about being a Glandore member?

Being a Glandore Member is like being part of a big family! You can tell it’s a family run business and the team go to great strides to help you feel part of that. In TCS, we always talk about being part of our family, and so we are delighted that Glandore also has a similar philosophy.

What do you like about living and working in Dublin?

Having lived in other countries and cities, I can safely say that nowhere else in the world embodies community like Dublin. From great places to eat, to the fact that people go out of their way to help people find their way around, it’s a unique and friendly capital city.

Irish workplaces are changing with more emphasis being placed on the importance of workplace culture and wellbeing. How can these initiatives be seen within TCS?

The founders of the TATA group, the TATA family, always believed the community was an extension of the workplace. As a result, our organisation has always tried to bring this philosophy to our workplace. Our initiatives around wellness and wellbeing come from the top down and every employee is encouraged to manage their wellbeing.

What’s your one piece of advice you’d like to share with fellow Glandore Members to look after their wellness?

Take time for a pause each day in work. Glandore offices are based in fantastic locations for taking a walk at lunch and take advantage of the events such as yoga and the running club that the team have organised especially for members. It also helps you meet other Glandore members too!
