Tell us about Tunstall Healthcare
Society is facing increasing health and social care challenges resulting from an ageing population and an increasing prevalence of long-term conditions, and technology is key to addressing these challenges. What’s your role in Tunstall Healthcare
As Director of Business Development and Delivery my role is to work with our current clients to deliver and maintain our high quality services to patients and clients. Alongside this, we also work with new and existing clients to develop new propositions which add real value. One of largest services in Northern Ireland is the Telemonitoring NI Managed Service which provides Connected Health and Care services across the five Trusts.

What’s next for Tunstall Healthcare?
As part of our growth Strategy we see three major areas of opportunity:

  • Growth in IP-connected users, and the emergence of an ‘Internet of Things’.
  • New models of care driven and supported through managed services.
  • Increased provision of healthcare in the home through remote patient monitoring and support.

What’s your favourite thing about working in Belfast?
Belfast is becoming more and more vibrant, particularly in the technology sectors.

What do you like about being a Glandore Member?
The Glandore team are always very helpful and friendly and always add value where they can.

Friday nights in or Friday nights out?
At the moment, I’m Friday nights in. With two young children weekends are usually very active!
