Glandore Providing Seamless Set-ups for International Firms

For the past 15 years, office provider Glandore has played an integral role in the growth and success of international companies setting up in Ireland.

Glandore currently has four locations in Dublin and two in Belfast, with capacity for up to 2,000 workstations. “Previous clients in Dublin include Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, Yelp, Eaton Corporation and Bulgari,” said Glandore director Clare Kelly.

Glandore offers companies immediate set-up in a fully fitted, innovative workspace, with maximum flexibility in length of stay.

“Our non-branded buildings offer the ability to scale from one to 350 persons in prime city-centre locations. We offer our members a tailored, ready-to-go IT solution with seamless set-up and onsite support,” said Kelly.

“Our experienced operations and reception teams offer back-office support to these companies while they are in the process of hiring their own teams.”

Crucially in the early days, Glandore acts as a concierge, connecting its international members to a trusted support network of relevant partners that can assist with other aspects of the company’s set-up in Ireland, from business banking and recruitment services to residential accommodation.

Through Glandore network events, international companies have the opportunity to expand their business network in Ireland and connect with other Glandore members. “Dedicated community managers are tasked with coordinating members’ events and create a buzzing and collaborative workspace for our members,” said Kelly.

This year, Glandore has doubled its workstation capacity in Dublin and Belfast, introduced co-working space and upgraded its meeting and event space.

“We will also be launching a bespoke, members-only web portal and app through which Glandore members will be able to book workspace and meeting rooms, communicate with other members and the Glandore team and access member perks,” said Kelly.

“Thanks to the range of office sizes available within Glandore, accommodating two to 80 people in open-plan floor plates, we can provide scaling international start-ups with a medium to longer term property solution.

“Glandore’s unique scalable capacity is equally attractive for larger established international companies requiring external project space for their teams or overflow space during office refurbishments.”

Additional amenities include Nespresso coffee stations, bike racks and shower facilities, onsite catering via Glandore’s Suesey Street restaurant on Fitzwilliam Place and private dining in its sister property, 25 Fitzwilliam Place.

“We believe that Ireland has a considerable advantage over other European countries post Brexit being the only remaining English speaking member of the European Union and eurozone,” said Kelly.

“This combined with our pro-business environment, open economy, young and highly skilled workforce and competitive corporate tax rate, makes us well positioned to benefit from post Brexit uncertainty in the FDI sector.”
